Davis Honors Challenge Faculty Handbook
The Davis Honors Challenge at the University of California,
Davis is a four year, campus wide honors program. The Web based
Faculty Handbook was funded by a grant from FIPSE (Fund for the
Improvement of Post Secondary Education, 1997-1999)
The handbook is designed to serve as a comprehensive overview
of the program and its key component the Honors Seminar. In addition
it is designed to serve as a teaching resource for faculty leading
Honors Seminars.
Each of the four major sections of the handbook represents
an important aspect of the honors seminar. Supporting pages contain
both original documents and links to Internet resources.
