Suggested Grading SchemeThe following components were developed by 1998-99 seminar faculty. They directly correspond to the program objectives to increase students' abilities to work in teams, improve oral and written communication skills, and think critically. I. Team Skills - students are effective team members. II. Communication Skills - students produce quality written and oral presentations III. Critical Thinking Skills - students are able to face the complexities of an ill-structured problem ( a multi-dimensional problem with no single correct answer) and make effective judgments based on criteria.
