The Davis Honors Challenge is unlike any other honors program in the nation. A description of its mission, the major components, a brief history and frequently asked questions can be found in the Program Overview.

The honors seminar is currently the keystone of the DHC program. It exposes DHC students to a learning experience not duplicated anywhere on campus. The Honors Seminar section of the handbook describes the seminar's goals, teaching methods used and the rational behind the seminar.

Planning the Honors Seminar and Choosing a Topic are sections written expressly for faculty who are preparing to teach an honors seminar. This section covers a number of topics like: how to design your syllabus, how to plan for the Convocation, and how to plan instructional units.
