Request a Space in the DHC Kearney
Hall Living-Learning Community
As a First-Year DHC student, you have the
opportunity to live in the DHC Living-Learning Community
located in Kearney Hall in UC Davis’ newest residential
student housing complex (Kearney/Laben). This unique Living-
Learning Community houses approximately 54 students. Though
living in this community is not mandatory for DHC students,
those who secure a space here will participate in a plethora
of activities designed to enhance their first-year experience.
Spaces in this community will be filled on
a first-come, first-served basis, and requests must be submitted
online by Friday, July 10,
2009.
To request a space in the DHC Community,

will not be available in the Housing application until after

You can decide what information you want to
enter for your second and third preference sets. Please
remember that your room assignment is based on the preference
sets you designated on your assignment page.
Note: If you are part of a roommate group,
all members of a roommate group must have identical first
preference sets. Therefore, if your proposed roommate is
not a part of the DHC program and you request a space in
the DHC community, you will be removed from your roommate
group.
