The DHC Living-Learning Community

The DHC Living-Learning Community is located in Kearney Hall in the Tercero South Residentce Hall Area. This unique Living-Learning community is an integral part of the Davis Honors Challenge (DHC). Though living in this community is not mandatory for DHC students, those who secure a space here will participate in a plethora of activities designed to enhance the first-year experience. Close interaction with faculty, workshops for honing study and time management skills, and opportunities to increase cultural and diversity awareness are just some of the activities residents will experience. Students residing in this community will have the added benefit of living with a group of similarly motivated peers.

Want to Live in the DHC Living-Learning Community?

All incoming UCD students will have already indicated their non-DHC housing preferences prior to being notified of their acceptance into the DHC. To be eligible to request a space in the DHC Community, students must have a Student Housing Contract on file for the 2008-2009 academic year. In late June, when students are notified of their acceptance into the DHC, they will be able to indicate their interest in this community. Spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have any questions about DHC housing, please contact us at dhc@ucdavis.edu.
