Third-Year Program
In their third-year, DHC students have a chance to utilize all the skills developed in the first and second year programs. With the Honors Contract, students conduct an independent one-on-one project with a professor of their choice. This allows more faculty interaction and enrichment of the learning experience. In the Third-Year Honors Seminar, students work in teams to solve a real world problem that is posed to them by a public sponsor. The student teams then present their solutions and recommendations at the end of the quarter Upper Division Honors Convocation.
